Durban – Eleven trucks were burnt in a fire at Honeydew Dairies premises in Stockville Road in Westmead, Pinetown, on Friday evening.

Garrith Jamieson, operations director at Rescue Care said paramedics and the Durban Fire Department arrived on the scene about 10.30pm to find multiple trucks well alight. “Quick work by the fireman ensured that the blaze was contained and they managed to salvage two or three trucks before the fire spread to them. 11 trucks were badly burnt. But no injuries were reported on scene.

“The blaze was put out in thirty to forty five minutes,” he said.
